DIY Facial Scrub

One of my goals this year is to eliminate any non natural product from my skin care routine. However, one of the first steps that I have to make is to use up all the products that I already own. ( I do not like to waste products.) The first item in my skin care routine that I already finished up was my facial scrub and that is why I am sharing with you my new facial scrub, that only consist of two ingredients.

Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Review

Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser is finally at our local drugstores here in the U.S.

I am usually not one of those people who goes crazy about getting the latest makeup trend, however, I am in the look for a new primer that will be good and affordable. In one of my latest trip to Target for something completely different than what I ended getting (let's face it, it happens to the best of us) I came across the new Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser. As some of you might know this products is actually not a new product overseas but it is a new product to us in the USA. I got this product about a week or two ago, and I have been trying it since then.  So, here is my little review on it:

Where to find it?

The product itself is making its way very slowly to our local drugstores, after finding this product at Target, I went back to get another one for a friend who wanted to try it but the product was gone. I have also visited a couple of my local drugstores like CVS & Walmart and there's still no sign of the product. However, if you are looking for this product make sure you visit you local ULTA, I saw that they have it on their January catalogue.  Also, go to the Target website and you can check the availability of this product in your local store before having to go to Target.

How much is this product?

As any other drugstore product the prices are going to change according to where you buy it. Like I said, I got mine at Target and it only costed me $5.99. However, other stores like CVS and ULTA have it for $6.99.

What does the product claims to do?

  • Instantly blurs the look of pores, without clogging them.
  • Transparent gel formula, smooths on clear.
  • Smoothes and refines skin's appearance.
  • Non-comedogenic and fragrance.
USE ALONE OR UNDER MAKE UP:

Use alone for flawless-looking skin, smoothing onto areas with visible pores.

OR

Smooth a thin  layer under foundation for a smooth-looking finish.

Blur Technology

How much product do I get?

20ML  .67 FL OZ

What do I think of the product?

I have been trying the product for about a week or two now and at first I was not a really big fan of the the product, however, as the week progressed and I started to get more comfortable with it and started to try it with and without make up, I did see a differences in my skin after applying the product.

One thing that I did notices is that the product did a good job at blurring out my smallest pores but where I have my biggest pores it did not do much for me. Also, if you are a person who does not like silicone base primer then I do not think this products is for you.

Is it a dupe for the Benefit Porefessional?

A lot of people have been saying that this might be a dupe for the Porefessional, however, (and this is just my own personal opinion) I do not think that this is a dupe. I believe both products works differently.

In conclusion, this primer is not going to be a miracle worker, but it is a good primer for those of you who want to Blur the look of your pores and do not have really large pores because the main purpose of this is to Blur not fill in.  I will totally recommend you to give it a try and is quite affordable.

Just know that every product will work different for everyone.

I <3 Smoothies!!!! Especially when they are delicious and healthy.... Check out one of my favorite smoothies for this week.....

So, I was in the mood for something super delicious but at the same time I wanted a drink that was rich in nutritional value, so I came up with the following recipe...... And do not let the green fool you because it taste great....

Here are the ingredients:

2 Table spoons of Natural Yogurt (Non Flavor)
2 Kale leaves
A handful of frozen Strawberries
A handful of Spinach
Soy or Almond Milk
(To your taste, it depends how runny or thick you want the smoothie to be)
Chia Seeds
(Already soaked in milk or water)

How to:

Put all the ingredients in your blender and blend.
Is that simple.........

Things you might want to know:

·         If you want a sweet flavor you can try using sweet almond milk. It will make your drink have a sweet taste, however it taste great with soy or non sweet almond milk.
·         Make sure you let the Chia Seeds soak for at least 15 Mins. Before making your smoothie or you can just put a table spoon of the seeds without soaking... (I like to soak them) but that's just me...
·         Make sure to wash your veggies and fruits....
·         If you do not have frozen strawberries make sure that you at some ice to your smoothie, for a cold and refreshing drink.

If anybody wants to give it a try, post your pic, or comment if you like it or not....

Thanks for reading. <3

I am not a nutritionist or anything like that!!!!

DIY Face Mask

Chocolate Coffee Face.........

It smells and feels super good, plus it makes your skin look so much better........

I saw this recipe online..... And I decided to give it a try and I love it........

Ingredients:

One table spoon of unsweetened Cocoa Power
This is the one I used....
Is about $3.99. It depends where you get it.
But you can use any cocoa power that you have.
One table spoon of ground espresso

One table spoon of Honey

One table spoon of plain Yogurt

The actual recipe says 4 table spoons but if you’re only making it for yourself one table spoon is more than fine...Otherwise you would have some leftover.... Also you can use milk instead of yogurt.

Preparation:

Mix all your ingredients until you make a thick paste or you can at a little bit more milk or yogurt if you don't want it 2 thick.

Apply the mask on your pretty clean face and neck.

Let dry.....

Last but not least.....

Rinse with warm water. If you have sensitive skin, you should avoid rubbing your face because the coffee grounds could potentially scratch your skin.
